To end judicial impunity for corruption crimes, a key dimension in our worldwide focus is to identify the specific conditions and causes that generate it, design appropriate solutions and determine appropriate and strategic targets for generating bottom-up pressure.
To this end we develop diagnose tools to help chapters catalyze judicial stakeholders to identify the concrete advocacy targets relevant in their national context to end impunity and to mobilize people to socially sanction the corrupt as well as to demand for an appropriate answer from their respective judicial systems.

The output of using this instrument is a list of concrete advocacy targets, while the outcome is social mobilization, being also an effective way to decode the judicial encrypted language, in order to engage regular people.
This new and innovative scorecard methodology focuses on assessing potential risks caused by judicial gaps and loopholes that could lead to impunity in all six stages (detection, merit test, investigation, prosecution, adjudication and sanctioning) of the case management process. Read more...

The Centre of Expertise Programme aims at strengthening the TI Movement’s advocacy capacity on the integrity, independence and accountability of the judiciary. Its focus is on strengthening the integrity, independence and accountability of the judiciary as a key prerequisite for reducing impunity for corruption.
